Link to worldwide echolink repeaters, nodes, users, conferences.
This is a simplex system, not a repeater.
We do however, link by request via the node or during nets of the N.C.A.A.R.S. Club  on Thursday nights at 8PM CST.
AC5AV Searcy repeater. ( 146.390 PL 94.8 )
We also link to W5STR node, NL7RQ  Cabot repeater, for their net on Sunday nights at 8pm CST.

Locally to access the node from a radio use
146.500 mhz with a tone of 94.8
I.D. slowly and clearly when accessing the node and you should hear a roger beep confirming you
made contact. Use DTMF tones to access other repeaters or nodes or conferences. DTMF not supported during linked sessions with AC5AV repeater.

Before making a connection with any system query the node
for other connected conferences or repeaters by DTMF " 08 "
ID BEFORE SENDING ANY DTMF. If connected to conference
or repeater then Disconnect all " ##1 " then proceed to make the call.

Basic radio simplex requires no work, just talk. The roger beep will confirm you are being heard over echolink.

RULES FOR USE.

I.D.  every 10min as required by law.
Do not abuse the system.
Do not disconnect any nodes unless you intend to use the system
for another connection. When in doubt, just ask anyone connected.

BEFORE ANY DTMF
Wait for clear frequency.
I.D. Then say " On Tones" then send the DTMF.
If a connection is made, when done  press
 " 73 " when you are done.
Listen for the node to say "Disconnected" if no voice is heard please try again.

Do not cross link repeaters or conferences without permission from repeater trusties or Conference owners. - Very important.

Failure to comply with node rules and FCC law will result in banning on the node and a report made to the local Official FCC observer.

This node frequently links to the Searcy repeater and is operated
by the N.C.A.A.R.S. Club. Please report abuse to KG5ABL Via ORZ.COM where you will find the e-mail address.

Mobile devises or computers sending text be aware all text is read by computer ,over the air, with your call sign when the
frequency is clear..

"146.500 mhz PL94.8 Only"

DTMF CODES REQUIRE PERMISSIONS. CONTACT CONTROL.

RADIO - KENWOOD TK 762H
Pwr -25 watts.
Height -45 ft.
Node timeout is 4 min.
Repeater timeout when connected is 2 min.

Please do not time out any system.
Keeping all overs under 2 minutes is
a good practice.. If you have a lot to say,
then call for a pause, unkey 4 seconds, then return to talking.
During simplex operation a roger beep is heard on the radio side when
you successfully hit the node. 2 seconds of transmit is needed to
trigger the roger beep, so say your callsign slowly if you are
testing to see if you are getting into the node.
Allow large gaps between overs to allow connected systems
to fully unhook before returning to transmit.

Hook to The world wide dxlink.
