1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the Hemp Store Inventory Control and Tracking app (“the App”) manages data. This App is designed for in-store use by hemp retailers and employees. It operates entirely offline and does not collect or transmit personal data.

2. Information Collection and Use

The App does not collect, transmit, or share personal or sensitive user data.

The App stores data locally on the device, including:

Inventory information (product names, stock, weight)

Sales data (item numbers, prices, employee initials)

Admin logs (tamper logs, system resets)

Local passwords (for admin and manager access)

This information is stored entirely on the user’s device using LocalStorage and IndexedDB browser technologies and is not shared with the developer or any third parties.

3. Backup and Restore

Users may choose to back up or restore data using a local ZIP file that includes:

Sales archive

Inventory information

Logs and configuration data

The backup file is created and downloaded locally. The App does not upload or access these files externally.

4. Data Security

The App provides local password protection for admin and manager functions.

No cloud synchronization or remote access is used.

Users are responsible for securing the device and backup files.

The App does not encrypt data; however, it remains confined to the local browser storage.

5. Third-Party Services

This App uses the following open-source libraries which run only within the app and do not collect user data:

Chart.js – for graph visualization

JSZip – for ZIP file creation and restoration

Google Fonts (Roboto) – for interface appearance

None of these services access or transmit your data externally.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children. It does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. No personal information is collected or transmitted.

7. Internet Access

The App does not require internet access and does not interact with external servers. All data remains on-device unless explicitly backed up by the user.

8. User Rights and Control

Users may delete all data through in-app reset features.

All data is under the user’s control and can be exported, deleted, or modified locally.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices. Any updates will be posted here with a new effective date.
